Our Team
Victor Perez, DVM, MS.
Dr. Perez takes both pride and joy in his ability to take care of the needs of pets as well as their owners. His special interests include dermatology, soft tissue surgery, and preventative care.
After graduating from Jesuit High School in New Orleans, Louisiana, Dr. Perez’s educational career continued at Colorado State University, where he received a degree in history, focusing on Medieval Europe. He went on to receive a Master of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology at Tulane University. He then attended Louisiana State University to receive his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. After practicing in Louisiana for several years in small animal general practice and emergency medicine, he moved to North Ridgeville, Ohio.
Dr. Perez spends his free time with his wife, Olivia, raising his two boys, Grey and Fennec. When not with family, Dr. Perez can be found engaging in fitness activities, including weight lifting, racquetball, and volleyball.
Kristen
Practice Manager
Kristen is passionate about helping pets and their families thrive. With years of experience managing animal hospitals and degrees in Biology and Business, she’s excited to see Happy Pet’s doors open again. Outside of work, Kristen loves baking, hiking, and camping with her husband Jeff, their two kids, and their furry companions, Tank, Asher, and Katniss Everdeen the cat.
Katie
Registered Veterinary Technician
Katie brings 15 years of experience caring for animals in rescue, general practice, and emergency settings. She’s thrilled to join the Happy Pet family and continue her mission of compassionate care. At home, she enjoys life with her three beloved dogs—Bubba, Atticus Finch, and Maple—and loves painting, kayaking, and fishing in her free time.

Customer Service Representative, Veterinary Assistant
Alex has five years of veterinary experience and a knack for making every pet and family feel valued. She’s passionate about creating a welcoming environment and is always happy to lend a helping hand. When not at work, Alex enjoys exploring new hobbies and spending time with her family.
