Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delays are inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

For your convenience, scheduled “drop-off” appointments are available. A “drop off” is typically scheduled when your pet must be seen, but our doctor is already booked with surgeries or other appointments. When you “drop off,” you will leave your pet with us for a few hours so that he or she can be evaluated in between other patients or at a purposefully scheduled time that would be otherwise inconvenient for you. Once the doctor is done, she will give you a call to go over plans and estimates of recommended diagnostic tests or give you a diagnosis and discharge instructions.

For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date. Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings, and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet. We recommend that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the waiting room.

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. We will make every effort to provide you with working estimates, but please notify us in advance of any particular constraints or limitations. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash, and personal checks. Care CreditTM is another recognized option and can be applied for on the Web or over the phone. We encourage you to consider pet insurance options and are willing to answer any questions that you might have.

Patient Arrival Policy

For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.
